Near the Castle but far away the old town BUT the hostel gave us a free bus pass so we can reach the city center really easily !! The beakfast is really complete and good !The staff where really really helpfull. Only bad thing is that there is nokitchen that we can use! Melanie-Anne, from Canada ~ 12th Jun 2013

Cheapest place to stay in Montreux. You get what you pay for: A hot shower, a bed, and a good breakfast. It sits right on the lake which offers amazing views and is right next to the train station. The lights and showers are annoying because they go off every few minutes and the shower goes off about every 45 seconds so you definitely are kept buy while in the shower to keep the light and water on. Somewhat annoying that the reception is not open during the day and owner turned up half an hour late. Not the greatest place to meet fellow travellers as only small common area. Staff were eventually helpful though. Bit of a walk from the centre of Montreux but not so bad since it is a nice walk around the beautiful lake. Neil, from England ~ 12th Mar 2013

The hostel is easy to find and if you take the train to the 1. station after Montreux . It is just beside that, so it is not nessasary to walk 45 min. helle, from Denmark ~ 30th Nov 2012

I only have 480 character to explain what happened. 5/6 of the beds in our room had bed bugs. I was bitten some 15 times, all over my body after 30 minutes of sitting in the bed. I killed 10 bed bugs all over the room, only 30 minutes after arriving. My group slept in the lobby, and in the morning were told by the receptionist she knew that they had bed bugs and that we could not get our money back. The receptionist actually said that"Eastern Europeans bring bed bugs." This is all true. Peter, from Canada ~ 18th Oct 2012
