It's a really good House! Everybody is friendly and very helpful. There was just one thing I didn't like: the bed was a little bit to hard.

Overall, Red Lantern House is a good choice, although the location is probably the least attractive aspect of the place. However, the charm is sure to make up for the less-desirable location. Also, if you select the shared bathrooms option, keep in mind they are sort of 'outside', without heat, and so in the dead of winter, taking a shower should prove to be uncomfortable. We checkout early as they were doing renovations (I suspect for the imminent Olympics in August), so the paint smell was getting to our heads. However, under different circumstances, we would probably have stayed our full intended time.

Beautiful decoration and atmosphere. Big very clean rooms (cleaned daily). Great location. This place is so good we came back from the north side of Beijing after just one night - the alternative didn't compare!
