The best hostel we\'ve stayed at!! It was literally a short walk from the train station and close to many of the major sights. Marco was amazing! He carried all of our heavy luggage up 4 flights of stairs, made reservations for us to go see the museums, and even showed up at 5am on the day we left to help us carry our luggage back down the 4 flights of stairs. It was very convenient having internet in the room and it was also very nice to have a flat screen TV. The room was very clean! My only complaint is that if you are looking to cook in the kitchen, there aren\'t many utensils or pots for you to use. That was a very minor detail though. If I ever go back to Florence, this is where I will stay!!

Luna Rossa is in an awesome location. Just a 3 minute walk from the Firenze SMN central station which is the biggest plus. The place is really clean and secure. The staff was extra helpful in recommending restaurants and giving us directions. We had a private room with a bathroom and it was excellent. A LCD tv and computer in the room! A rarity for a hostel.
Luna Rossa is slightly different than a typical hostel, it is more like you are staying in one of the families extra rooms.

Early 50's parents with 3 children, 16, 19, 22. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Marco was a wealth of knowledge and his suggestions made our stay in Florence and at Luna Rossa a highlight of our trip.
