Amstel house was fine as far as hostels go. Reasonably easy to find and staff were friendly enough. The room was basic but clean. 2 things thou, when returning to the hostel at night we simply gave our room number and were given our key, no name was asked for what room the key was for which we didnt think was very safe. also would have been good to been told 11am was check out time, rather than have someone almost storm in on you getting dressed!!

A nice place to stay. It has a nice location if you dont mind not being right in a party district. Nice easy U Bahn ride to anything you want but there is no kitchen so that kinda sucked. Overall pretty nice.
