This is a pleasant, and calm place to stay out in a clean and pleasant neighborhood just north of all the action. Iriya is a nice neighborhood for a first time visitor to relax in for a couple of days. The building itself may be a little "old", but that shouldn't really be much of a concern for the self-sufficient world-traveller and friends. The location is convenient, but finding it the first time is a little tricky if you're not used to the way the streets seem to randomly split and angle off into seemingly random directions. Perhaps a sign or two along the route from the JR/Metro station would help, but, once you've found it, it's easy to navigate back to. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
