The hostel is located near lots of inexpensive restaurants and is walking distance to the ferry and local bus station. It was noisier than most and the staff tried to push tour packages. Do it on your own. It's a lot less expensive and absolutely feasible, despite what they'll tell you.

For me. it was a pleasant stay. The eateries are but a walking distance away. I would certainly recommend this hostle to my friends.

We had had reports of other people suffering bed bugs before we arrive. When we did get there we checked the mattress and found patches of blood all over the battered mattress. We were moved but the hostel itself has a nice communal area but the sleeping area is like a south american prison, with very thin walls and frosted windows looking out to the corridor which has people talking and slamming doors until everyone is asleep. I have stayed in worse places but not in the developed world!

Best hot shower in KK! Awesome location, friendly staff and a fantastic common area. A great, clean and well maintained hostel. Highly recommend!
