while the hostel looks very nice and is a good location for the daytime hours, it was dead at night. the staff were helpful but not overly friendly, but to be fair i only stayed there one night. although there were a number of people in the hostel it was extremely unsocial. good free internet! cool old building!

Found girl receptionist v helpful but left laundry in with guy receptionist and I received it back and it had not been washed and I had to do it myself. Otherwise v clean and excellent location.

It has one of the good views for any hostel. Though not in a night-life area, it is a great view of the Plaza de Armas and is great during the day. The staff was wonderful! When one of us took ill and needed a doctor, they went as far as taking us so that they could make sure all went well. Above and beyond for sure.
