after a hectic tie in tokyo this place was bliss. more like a gorgeous hotel than a hostel. music playing the background. so calm. lovely staff. great bathrooms. and an in house cleaner. would recommend it to anyone. we liked it so much we added another day.

The Hostel was fine, nothing special. The free bikes were a nice touch and it is a 15 minute ride into town. The rooms and common areas are small.

A very nice hostel and nice place the owners are very friendly. Before you go though stp at the shop if you need anything as it is a fair walk to the nearest one. a very relaxing place if you want to get away from the city.

The hostel is ideal either for Matsumoto or a stopping off place for other locations in the region. The owner kindly offered to pick me up from the train station; and the offer of free bikes is excellent. Thanks for the sorry but brief stay. Wish it could have bee more.

Very homely decor, with all the proper furnishing and amenities. Fantastic view from the house...bridge across a river and set against the backdrop of the Alps. Free bikes are provided and, the owners offer pick-up/drop-off at the station. My best memory of Japan!
