First night I arrived at the hostel area, I freaked out a bit at the neighbourhood...so many ppl with some looking like drug dealers. Fortunately there were many security officers and security cameras on some corners. I held my breath and checked in. The hostel was not as tidy as in the pic, but I suspected this was the common view of hostels all around Hongkong. The owner was quite nice (Indian) and he owned two other hostels on the same floor. The room and bathroom was tiny. Luckily I didn\'t bring that big of luggage, only the mid size. Overall clean, but I had to ask the hostel guy to change the sheet. The hot water did not work the first day and the closet didn\'t flush before 10am. Well nothing much you can expect from the hostel, except the location. The view outside the window also made me cringe. But if you are looking for a place just to put your stuffs and spend no more than 6 hours inside, then this place will do.

The rooms are tiny, hardly enough space to even open a big suitcase. And there is no separate shower, everything is in a very small bathroom...Plus the toilet doesn\'t flush properly, can be quite disgusting...

This place is worth the stay for sure. Johnny who runs the place is a very nice man and a really hard worker. Don't try to nickel and dime him, he won't have it. If you are polite and respectfull, the staff will go above and beyond for you.

I was really happy with Paris Guesthouse - it was good value for money and the staff were very helpful. I have to agree with the person who said that it's not a good place to meet fellow travellers, if that's what you're after. Also, some of the sheets and towels were quite worn and could do with replacing. Overall I was very happy though (which is why I extended a two night stay to six nights).
This was a cleaner hostel than many. Somewhat sterile, but in a good location with a polite, attentive staff. I would take my family back to this one.
