Great hostel with a great staff, Wesley! 5 minutes walk from waterfront and city centre. On the 3-floor, but clean bathrooms en bedrooms. 1 hot-shower, 1 cold, 2 toilets.

Basically they just give you a key show you around and leave you to it - its very trusting of them. Dont be surised if your the only guest. Area is near supermarkets, shopping centers and the river. Internet is slow dial up that you have to pay for also doesnt have lift so hard if you have heavy luggage.

Cozee hostel must be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. If you're looking for big groups of fellow travelers and lots of commotion, cozee is probably not for you. During our stay over 3 days we were the only guests there, which made it very quiet and relaxing and feel a lot like our own apartment in Kuching. Initially I was a bit skeptical when I read that cozee doesn't accept walk-in reservations, but this is simply due to the hostel not being continually staffed- once the initial booking has been made, further nights can be booked in person, by phone, email, etc. Ho and Wesley, the owners of Cozee could not be more hospitable! We asked to have the airport pickup service, which was RM 18 vs 17.50 for a taxi, and for that extra 50 sen, we were warmly greeted at the airport, and then Wesley drove us to the hostel giving us a brief tour of the city- well worth 50 sen. At the hostel, Wesley was very forthcoming with a great deal of useful information that helped us plan our trips to Bako and Semengoh- and was just very friendly. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stay if you want a base to explore Bako and around. Good area near bars, waterfront etc. though a little too close to McDonalds for my liking! The informative and helpful chap who runs the place gave me some good advice on travel arrangements around Sarawak. Would stay here again!
