A good place to stay, but not a lot of party. Nice people there, and good, stable beds.

Excellent location right downtown, two blocks from the subway station with lots of high end shopping a stones throw away. However, I came back to unlocked dorm doors more than once, and several people at the hostel had their bags, passports, etc. stolen from the room. Good characters, just don't leave important items lying about.
Great location, only two blocks from Union Square. Not alot going on in hostel as quite small with a number of long term residents but great if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep close to the ccentre

On the edge of a seedy neighborhood, but you don't have to go through the bad area to get to it...there is a Hilton hotel right across the street. The place was clean, cute decorations, and the staff was nice.
