I had a really nice stay here- the staff was lovely, very attentionate and helpful (especially Sun Wei, who went to great lengths to get my train ticket for me!); there\\\'s a great chill-out area with comfy couches, a pool table and free internet; and the 6-bed dorm room is excellent value for money, with a perfectly functional en-suite bathroom.

We can say with confidence that this is a great hostel. The common areas are nice and comfortable with good decor and a pool table. The rooms are clean, nice and have all the amenities you may need. Staff is excellent, friendly, very helpful with excellent english language skills compared to what we have encountered elsewhere in China. We have stayed in other hostels in Hangzhou before, but never will again because we wouldn\\\\\\\'t want to stay anywhere else.
Really nice and helpful staff - I arrived a night before my booking and they sorted everything out for me even though they didn\'t have any room. The dorms are nice with a medium sized locker with each bed and a bathroom for each dorm.

Really nice staff who will take the time and patiently explain Hangzhou. It is a bit far from the city center, which can be a hassel if you are coming back late at night. However, it is about a 5-10 minute bike ride to Sudi. A bit of a problem with bugs, which I also noticed in a previous post. However, I think they are inevitable in such a climate and rather harmless. The staff did offer a can of RAID, but since they didn't bite it was ok.
The staff in Tour an Backpackers Hostel is just fantastic! They were really helpful to me because they speak english very well and they were so friendly!! The decoration is beautiful and so chinese! I just love this hostel and will come back as soon as possible!!
