They had overbooked and so we got upgraded to a suite... so I can't really complain. This is a good clean, friendly hostel. Don't let the neighborhood scare you off... about 3 blocks away are a ton of restaurants and about three blocks the other direction there is a ton of shopping, metro line, and Acropolis.

Excellent hostel. Very close to everything that you want to see, nice bars and restaurants in the area. There is a metro stop 1 block away, but I never even needed it as everything is within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar is nice and it is very easy to meet people if you are traveling on your own. It was also very clean and air conditioned. Overall, I would recommend that this is THE place to stay in Athens.
