we knew that we might have difficulty with language in kota bharu but the staff were friendly and we managed to use LOTS of gestures and writing to get our message across. location was ok - close to airport and town but far for us as we came from train station. no internet, nothing going on, in the middle of nowhere. still if you want to relax by sitting still, reading or something then this is for you. quick bus ride to town, very easy, but beware - few shops, restaurants open on fridays.
