Hotel Porta Nuova in Assisi, Italien

Built in the early years of the 1900s of the typical pink stone quarried from Mount Subasio, near Assisi, the Hotel Porta Nuova was originally a large private home, renovated into a hotel in 1988.

Porta Nuova hotel is open from Easter to January 6th and offer 20 rooms with private facilities (shower), wi-fi in all hotel, only no smokers room, satellitar TV, minibar, telephone

The hotel Porta Nuova is located close by one of the eight medieval gates of Assisi called Porta Nuova, it is just 30 meters outside the medieval gate. It is easy to reach the hotel by car with the navigator please write Via instead of Viale; by train: the railway station is ca 5 km far but there are busses from the station to our House each 30 minutes from early in the morning to 10 pm ca, our bus stop is C13 exactly in front of the IP petrol station, then walk in the direction of the round-about to the Unicredit Bank, turn left throught the pedestrian gate and up the steps to the main entrance of the hotel. If your luggage is too heavy ring the bell by the pedestrian gate. By airplain: the best stop is in the San Francesco airport (PEG), from there you can rent a car or take a taxi.
Our House is completely a not smoking hotel in all the common area.
Our lucky charme is Miss Camilla (the cat), so pets are welcomed but it is important for us to know in advance who and when will check-in.
