102 years ago this building was the biggest toy store in Budapest and 40 years ago it accommodated the best-known rock club in the communist block. The newly designed and fitted BAZAR Hostel with its 11 rooms now occupies part of this historic building situated close to all the best bars and clubs.

In our spacious kitchen you can eat communally and in the spacious main lobby you can relax on comfortable couches and plan your night like a 22nd century Sultan.

Along with its unique design, the hostel boasts rooms that are extremely comfortable, some including ensuite bathrooms too.

Our staff are well travelled and culturally informed. Musicians, organizers and bar staff will tell you where to find the hidden secrets of the city, and if you want it, within one night they'll turn you into a virtual inhabitant of Budapest.

I lived 3 years in hostels around the world, so I believe the owner of this one as well.. It was one of the best I\'ve ever been. Cool design of lounge and specially the flooring, the parketta. Friendly atmosphere, and kind polish staff as well. Peter, from Hungary ~ 23rd Jul 2012
