Gorky 6 Hostel in Kazan, Ryssland

We were a Mikado Hostel last year but we changed the name in October 2011.

It is only a 10 minute walk to the Kremlin. We are located in an old merchant house that was built about 100 years ago. We renovated the building in 2011.

It is easy to find us because we are located in a separate building unlike most Russian hostels.

Before Soviet times the building belonged to a famous merchant family. We preserved some of the things from that period.

We have our own heating system, so the water is hot all year round.

There is a kitchen on the first floor and a common room on the second.

We provide free maps of the city.

Accommodation Information:
Gorky 6 Hostel has 3 dorm types (4 beds, 5 beds, 6 beds) and 4 private types available - single bed, double, twin and a triple room). We can accommodate up to 40 guests.
There are two toilets and two separate showers on each floor (1 per 10 guests which is the best in Kazan).

We have 6 safes for hire for 10 rub each. You can easily leave your laptop or a camera.

Laundry costs 100 rub per load.

We only accept Cash on arrival

But you can check in even earlier if we have rooms available or you can leave your luggage and take a shower.



We only provide small towels for free. You can rent a big towel for 20 rubles. Slippers and Flip-flops are welcomed, but you also can rent them form us... ))) We have 6 safes for our guests. The rent costs 10 rub.
