Smart Hyde Park Inn Hostel is perfectly located in the heart of central London, created with the hostel and budget traveller in mind.

Located just off London and Europe's most popular shopping areas of Portobello Market, Knightsbridge and Oxford Street, we're also less than 100 metres from one of London's biggest and most famous parks. We're a short walk from many of the iconic and famous sites of London, an ideal area for any type of trip.

You can stroll down any of the streets in the area and feel like you're part of a movie set, either in Portobello Market in Notting Hill or in the surrounding royal parks.

We provide cheap, affordable and value-for-money budget accommodation in London and your safety and comfort are our primary concerns. Every room is key-card-locked, as is entry to the main part of the building, with security lockers in every room. Safes can be located in reception which is open 24 hour to help you with any questions or problems you may have.

Every room has been built with the London hostel traveller in mind and has custom-build beds, designed with privacy and functionality in mind. The beds have curtains and panels ensuring that your stay is private and comfortable. All rooms are cleaned daily and maintenance checks are performed weekly, making us one of the safest hostels in London. Linen is free.

The local transport links are great, as the location of the hostel in Central London is amazing. We're located within three minutes walking distance (with luggage!) from both Queensway and Bayswater tube station. Both train lines link to all the major train stations and to Heathrow Airport. There are 24-hour buses running next to the hostel which connect to many of the city's train and bus stations, making us accessible day or night.

Beat the long lines at your favourite attractions and buy Fast Track tickets to all the major London attractions - such as Madame Tussaud's and the London Eye - directly from our 24hr travel and ticket desk. We also sell discount theatre tickets to all major shows in the West End.

Our location means we're also an ideal venue to see London's vibrant nightlife. We're within walking distance to all the major clubs and bars and the trendy Mayfair and Notting Hill areas, but not close enough to disturb your night's rest. There's no curfew or lockout and our transport links are so good you can party the night away until anytime.

We're right beside the fabulous Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, with relaxing open spaces away from the busy streets of London.

Our rooms are ensuite with a basin and are comfortable and safe.

There are plenty of bathroom facilities around the building with hot water all day long. We have common rooms and a kitchen for guest use with internet cafe, snacks and cold and hot drinks. The common rooms have satellite and plasma TVs.

We have tourist information available and currency exchange as well as 24-hour staff at reception to help you with any queries. Please inform us in case you are not satisfied with something and help us improve it.

The area is packed with activities such as shopping in Queensway, featuring roller-skating and ice-skating and a shopping centre, the famous Notting Hill and Portobello Market, Speakers Corner, Oxford Street, High Street Kensington, Marble Arch as well as other attractions which are between 15-30 minute walk.

Westminster, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, the London Eye are just a few minutes away by train. Our convenient location is surrounded by attractions and sites and from here you can easily explore the city. There is a bus and Tube station close by to make travelling easier.

We sell tickets to attractions and some have queue jumps and/or 20% discounts, too. Some of these attractions are Madame Tussaud's, Tower of London, London Eye and the London Zoo.

We also organize themed nights like games and movie nights and pub crawls. It's a great way to meet new people and share your travel experiences. There is no curfew so you can party all night.

We have a pizza factory for when you're feeling hungry, offering 20% discounts on all dishes except for buffets. Here we also serve other Italian dishes and if you bring your key card you can avail of the discount.

Just beside the Pizza Factory there is the Royal Bayswater Café, a traditional spot offering 10% discount to our guests for all meals from Full English Breakfast to Fish 'n' Chips.

Security cameras are in operation at all times and lockers in rooms at a fee of £1.50 per day. Health and safety regulations take place regularly.

Should you pay by card on arrival, a 3% point of service fee will be added. Payment by cash will negate the hold on your card, which is released as per your bank's terms and conditions.
