The first sustainable hostel in Moscow, located in a quiet side-street in the lively downtown neighborhood of Kitai-Gorod. The Kremlin, the Red Square and most Moscow landmarks are in walking distance. There are lots of bars, night clubs and cofeeshops around. The hostel is ecofriendly, our aim is to make your stay comfortable while reducing the footprint on environment.

We provide both shared and private rooms (bathrooms and showers are shared).
We are NOT an 'apartment-type' hostel (which is quite common in Russia). We're located in a separate building and don't argue with neighbours. Enjoy!

I had a lot of expectations due to the name "Eco" Hostel. I'm sorry to say that these expectations didn't turn into reality. I understand that "Eco" i Russia is different than "Eco" in Scandinavia. Although I expected something more than just recycling bins. The hostel could have for example energy efficient bulbs, signs in the shower and bathroom how to reduce your use of water, a more efficient dish washing system (such as a plug in the sink so that you won't have to wash with running water) Victor, from Finland ~ 6th Apr 2013
