Traveler's Soul Inn is located in the newly renovated 1865, formerly the Nanjing Machinery Manufacturing Bureau -- just a stone's throw away from the 600-year-old City Wall of Nanjing and gently flowing QinHuai river and many of Nanjing's other renowned attractions, including the Confucius Temple and the Rain Flower Terrace.

This was a great place for people interested in the 1865 Park, and if you want a quiet, safe, clean, retreat. It's a little out of the way though. Jeremy, from USA ~ 9th Apr 2013

I loved this hostel except for one thing. There\'s a small white dog in a cage outside in the garden area. This animal is completely neglected!!! I was there in July and it was around 36\'C. I let the dog out of the cage and it seemed as though it hadn\'t been out of there in weeks. It sleeps on a metal grid and it\'s just very sad. If you\'re there let the dog out and give it some water please!
Hi, thank you for your coming & comment:-) The little one was a stray dog before we adopt her, but she always howl to guests, we had to let she stayed in a cage under a tree in daytime. One of us will take a walk with her after work, also she can play with us in front desk in the night. She is treated as same as that little fat lazy bad-tempered cat who only eat Cat food:-) We hope to see you again! PS: Her name is chocoate, & she was sheared a few days ago.
