Poets' Corner Hostel is a small, homelike hostel right in the historic centre of Olomouc.
The shared dorm rooms are all big and colourful and we believe them to be the best value accomodation in Olomouc. The private rooms have comforable double beds and can be set up as twins, doubles, triples or quads (let us know if your first choice is not available here).
Spring has arrived and Olomouc comes alive with lots of festivals and colour. Beer gardens galore to soak in the sun and the view. Weekly farmer's markets are on in the Main Square. Fountains are flowing and the gardens are growing!
Beerfest is on from June 26th to June 29th. The relaxed and friendly vibe of Olomouc is the perfect city to enjoy this celebration of Czech Beer.
As well as all that, Olomouc is a richly historic and beautiful city with grand architecture, excellent museums and impressive monuments. There are great cafes, teahouses, restaurants and microbreweries and with the biggest university student population per capita in the Czech Republic, there are lots of cool bars and clubs to party at too.

This hostel is a rare gem. The staff really make the atmosphere warm and friendly, with initiating night events such as bar evenings. As soon as he set me up with my bed, the reception sat me down and explained all the sight worthy things in the city. The best part of my experience was that the hostel managers hosted a new year's eve party in the common room, with free food and drinks! I must say that it is even worth it to visit this city (Olomouc) to get this unique hostel experience. Lucas, from Canada ~ 4th Jan 2013

300 czech a night if you pay at the hostel, probably cheaper than booking through another website. Good company to be found here, no TV. Staff are on your wavelength. Good atmosphere since everyone gets to know the others in the hostel quickly.
