Chicago Hostel is a super-friendly and helpful Ecuadorian run hostel conveniently located in a neighborhood considered a Historical Colonial district; our neighborhood enjoys a good level of safety and security with a police station just to two blocks from our hostel. Privileged location since 2003, it is very close to the heartbeat of Quito within walking distance of major points of interest. Also close to a main street with bus connection to the rest of the city as Equator, Teleferico, bus stations, etc.

Chicago hostel was founded in the year 2003 in a modern building with modern structures and solid bases. This place was created to be a hosting business since the beginning. Our rooms and bathrooms are not improvised so they have enough ventilation and natural light and also the water pressure system and water temperature system were created to assist large numbers of people. We never improvised; everything we have done has been well planned.

Chicago Hostel works hard to provide delicious breakfast, directions, transportation, advices, a good sleep and everything else that a traveler needs in Ecuador to start; this is a great place to get started on your journey. Do not expect five star service, do expect people who will try hard to help you find your way around and get you there safely.

This is a great hostel to stay, great atmosphere and lots of info available within hostel, Spanish and English speaking staff, laundry service reasonably priced and an amazing breakfast which you can enjoy it on our covered top terrace accompanied by a wonderful view of Quito, WIFI signal, a computer with internet, guest kitchen and really good music.

Owned and managed by education, hospitality and adventure tourism pros and a great time with this crew are guaranteed.

Chicago Hostel is home for visitors coming from all around the world. - We are a relaxing place
- We are located at a quiet neighborhood.
- Daily housekeeping service, free body soap and small towells provided
- No curfew
- Wifi in the top terrace, lobby bar and expensive rooms
- TV cable in Deluxe rooms
- Guest must cancel (by email) 72 hours prior to arrival in order to avoid being charged for the entire reservation
- In case of 'No Show' the entire first night of your reservation will be charged to your credit card.
- Check in is available from 14H00 to 01h00
- If you will make the check-In between 22h00 and 01H00, you must have a reservation.
- We offer a Lobby-bar
- We are friendly with the earth so we decide to make our building smoke free but insted you can smoke on the covered top terrace.
- Our target group is between the age 23 and 65. Please note however that we recommend that guests planning to stay in the dormitorio should be between 23 and 35 years old for the comfort of everyone.
- Concerning rules; our hostel is a hostel with guests from several different cultures and countries. Thus, we have a clear set of rules that we expect all our guests to respect in order to guarantee a nice atmosphere for all our guests and personal.
- The hostel is founded, owned and run by Ecuadorians.
- The hostel reception is not opened 24 hours a day.
- Check in is 14H00-01H00. Check out is at 11H00. Please understand that when checking out all the services you had as a guest will be terminated. This is to ensure that our still paying customers can enjoy the full comfort of the hostel and it's facilities.
