Bullis House Inn in San Antonio, Forenta Staterna

Near downtown, the Alamo, and the Riverwalk, the Bullis House Inn is in a three story, multi-columned mansion, with a large veranda. We are a unique European style guest house that has catered to the International and U.S. traveler for over 28 years. The Bullis House Inn was built in 1909 by General John Bullis, famous for his service on the Texas frontier, and is a registered Texas Historic landmark.

We have private rooms with king, queen, and twin size beds. All of our guestrooms have air conditioning, cable TV, clock radios, small refrigerators, ironing boards, and more. All guestrooms have hall baths.

We provide free off street parking, a large outdoor swimming pool, a fully equipped guest kitchen next door in the hostel building, a picnic area, coin-operated lockers, and a city bus schedule kiosk. A guest telephone with free local calls is available in the 2nd floor parlor. Free high speed internet service and free WIFI is available on the first and second floors of the mansion.

Morning coffee and tea is included.

We are located approximately 1.5 miles from downtown, the Alamo, the Riverwalk, the Amtrak station, and the Greyhound bus station; and only 10 blocks from the new Riverwalk extension.

Easy access by city bus or auto to downtown, the Alamo, Riverwalk, the Tower of Americas, the Mexican Market, the Spanish Missions National Park, the San Antonio Botanical Center, Brackenridge Park & Zoo, The Pearl complex and several museums.

Within easy walking distance are a post office, bank, neighborhood grocery, several convenience stores, various restaurants, the historic Pearl Brewery, and the new Riverwalk extension.

Tax is not included in the rates listed. When you make a reservation we charge an additional first night deposit to your credit card (less the 10% internet deposit already paid for that night). To cancel for a refund of this first night deposit, you must give us at least 7 days advance notice.

Our office hours are 8am to 12noon and 4pm to 9pm. If you arrive after office hours, a note and key to your room will be left by the front entrance door. Early morning check outs may be arranged the night before.Check-out time is 11 AM .

Each nicely decorated guest room has decorative plaster ceilings with chandeliers.
Private Rooms have either King or Queen size beds and twin daybeds.Some rooms have wood burning fireplaces with large mirrored mantles.All rooms have air conditioning/heat units;small refrigerators;dressers;closets ;table &chairs;cable TV and clock radios.
Irons and hair dryers are available upon request.
There is an outside veranda with dining tables. A swimming Pool in the backyard and a small fully equipped kitchen which is located next door to Bullis House in the Hostel building.The Bullis House Inn is a non-smoking inn. There is limited smoking outside.
