AM 6 is a hotel at hostel prices. Everything was brand new and clean, but most importantly, it was all well thought out. The bathroom had no window, but instead of just having a fan in the ceiling, it had a complete heating and cooling system. The only complaint I had about the bed were that the pillows were too hard, but that's a personal thing. Sam, the manager, was incredibly helpful and friendly. This is our go to place when in Taipei. The hostel is not staffed 24-7, but we contacted the staff ahead of time and they met us after hours. We Never had any problems so we did not need anything from the staff. The location is essentially in the Shilin Night Market so there is lots to do. It is also close to the Red line metro so you get downtown pretty quick as well. Paul, from USA ~ 3rd Jan 2013
