London has a lot to offer

According to Jade Bremner of Urbanatomy, if you're new to the town - or just fancy doing some touristy things, despite the fact that you've been there countless times - itineraries should begin with the Tower of London, in particular the White Tower. Although for some, getting in may seem pricey, it's apparently very easy to lose track of time and while away a whole day in the old prison, looking at weaponry, armour, the Crown Jewels and the changing of the guards.
However, if you're more of a fashionista, there's lots on offer as well. Ms Bremner directed the couture-conscious to Liberty's on Regent Street - housed in a delightful Tudor building - and Savile Row, one for the gentlemen among you. That said, bargain hunters may like to pay a visit to Old Spitalfields Market or Portobello, where you can pick up a range of items from food produce to antiques.
But, if you just want to see the sights, going on a bus tour could be fun as well, although it was recommended that you steer clear of the open top "tourist traps" and instead opt for a ride on the No. 25, or a trip on a barge.
It could also be a good idea to coincide your holiday with the arrival of Bob Dylan on Canvas, a showcasing of the musician's artistic endeavours that's being held in Mayfair's Halcyon Gallery between February 13th and April 10th. Go on, you know you want to.
