See Paris for free

Apparently, a card called the Paris Pass has been launched that offers those who buy it the chance to gad about the city cheaply, while taking in all the major sights. People who opt for this most helpful scheme will get free entry to some of the best attractions that Paris has to offer, like the Tour Montparnasse, the Musee Grevin and a river cruise down the Seine.
What's more, you'll get a complementary guidebook (that comes in three different languages) and free public transport, which any seasoned traveller knows is a bit of a spoiling. You'll also be able to do a bit of queue jumping if you have the Paris Pass with you and can skip out on all the waiting time at places like Notre Dame Cathedral, the Palace of Versailles and the Centre Pompidou.
Bear in mind, however, that, while you can take in as many of the interesting things to see and do in Paris with your card, you can only visit each attraction once every day, although you can of course come back again tomorrow.

That's a really great idea! I've never been to Paris but I'd like to at some stage so it's cool to know about handy things like this that might help save a few euro. Cheers!By james, Dec 18 2009 AT 02:47 PM
