According to the agency, Italy is renowned among the souls of the jet setting world for its "unparalleled beauty, food and shopping", which encompasses such a wide range of subject matter that surely no-one can be bored if they visit the country.
However, it was also noted that, for the vast majority who do decide that Italy and its many cities is the place to go on vacation, it is the region's "rich history" that is the most tempting factor and people who do head off on an Italian adventure will hop on a train to check out some of the many sites, or spend their time rambling around the countryside.
If you do make plans to head to Rome, it could be fun to check out the city on the metro system. The Guardian's Dave Hill recently did just that and said that it was an enjoyable way to get to know the city, although anyone opting for this travel choice may be taking their life in their hands as the "ancient trams [are] rickety".
