Go back in time in Vienna

All I really know about Mozart is that he died of syphilis, which, really, is rather rubbish when you think about it. This is why I would love to be in Vienna over the summer next year, so I can learn about one of the greatest composers that has ever lived. In my web travels, I happened across viator.com, which brought to my attention the Vienna Mozart Concert.
Held at the Vienna State Opera, the Vienna Mozart Orchestra is apparently planning on bringing the 18th century back to life with a programme consisting of Mozart's works - all played in historical costumes and wigs. Even if you're not that into the music, going along to see the period dress and imagine what it must have been like all those years ago is surely reason enough for anyone.
However, if you are planning on going, make sure that you book your tickets well in advance as performances at the opera house - which, incidentally, was first opened in 1869 with a gala concert of Mozart's Don Giovanni - sell out weeks ahead of time.
If you're planning an earlier trip, don't worry as the works of Johann Strauss are being played by the Vienna Kursalon Orchestra from April - and you get a dinner into the bargain!
