In Vietnam, hostels don�t tend to be the same as hostels in other countries. Here, most of the hostels are actually budget hostels and normally only have one or two dorm rooms. Almost all of the hostels in Vietnam are privately owned.
Pretty much all Vietnamese hostels will have all the basic facilities in their rooms, including fans, air conditioning, and fridges. Daily housekeeping services and free breakfast are also generally provided.
Most of the hostels in Vietnam will recommend tours to you when you stay there. Keep in mind that some properties may try to earn extra commission on these, but the commission should already be included in the tour rate.
