i chose 20 male dorm but i was assigned to male and female mixed dorm room.. the room was full of disgusting smell and there are a lot of "black folwers", you know, that was fungus here and there of rooms and in the bathrooms. i reserved two days but i couldn't stay there. so i just early checked out... i was sick after staying there... also the space between the bunk beds is like 30cm equal to 1 foot.. that is too much crowded.. Good to know: They have free shuttle to the international airport. They have a nice pool and beers are quite cheap. The area around the hostel is known to be not very safe (2 of my friends told me that it is a ghetto). Thomas, from France ~ 3rd Oct 2011

I was only here as a stop over between flights at LAX, so the location for me was good. They offer free transport to and from the airport, plus to the green line (trains). The majority of the shuttle drivers are really friendly, but not all. The front desk isn't overly friendly and outgoing, but they aren't rude. Overall, a fairly decent stay. This hostel gives you a lot for what you pay. It has plenty to do and offers shuttles to beaches, transit centres and the airport so I had no problem getting around or getting home. Highly reccomended for the traveller on a budget. Kathryn, from New Zealand ~ 17th Sep 2011

The hostel is just awesome, one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The atmosphere is just amazing. Location is pretty bad, but they give shuttles to the airport and public transport. The hostel was really nice, they picked people up at the airport and i met nice people there, so it was a lot of fun. if you know that its not a hotel and everything its okay, the 8 bed female room was really nice, only the bed was moving all the time when someone was sleeping above. i enjoyed it and if you dont stay too many days its okay, 2 nights are totaly fine :) Malena, from Germany ~ 31st Aug 2011
