Wasn't impressed with the alcohol ban, especially considering how expensive Dublin can be! Apart from that, the place is cool and has a nice vibe.

Breakfast bread, jam, juice, tea, nescafe..etc. Simple but good. Very good location, pretty close to Temple Bar, but no noise! Bed a bit hard maybe, but we slept well!Good experience!

The breakfast choice is very limited and not completely appealing

overall what you would expect from a hostel. The bathrooms were quite small though and if you're taking the bus from the airport and getting off at Trinity College - as per directions - "Dame Street" is acually called 'College Green' which later turns into Dame. I found that out the hard way.

Highly recommended!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, short walk to lots of sights, pubs, and restaurants. Lots of activities offered at the hostel, free internet access was great. Rooms are modest and served their purpose. It's nice that they have sinks in the rooms, too. Would definitely stay here again!

We are really glad for having spent our holidays at Avalon House. It is a 100% recomendable acommodation. The rooms and toilettes really clean, friendly atmosphere and quiet to relax at the end of a long tour day
