My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay at Backpacker Mr. Sea in Seoul. Location of the hostel is convenient, easy access to Airport Bus and Subway with good restaurants nearby.Mr. Sea is friendly and helpful.We strongly recommend travellers to stay here.When we re-visit Seoul in future we will probably choose Backpaker Mr. Sea again. kam yuet, from Canada ~ 30th Dec 2011

Mr sea is very kind and helpful. The deluxe 4 bed family room ensuite was okay =) Toilet had vandilation system which make the toilet odour-free. But one thing is that the toilet is abit too small, but that does not pose much problem in your stay.It is located just opposite the airbus station which make travelling to-and-from airport convenient. The Hyehwa area is alive at night with university students seeing various shows and performances.The hostel has easy access to the subway, and it is easy to walk to a lot of the larger tourist attractions.The only down side is that the hostel is cash only upon arrival. The room was very humid and it smelt very damp everywhere (even in the common area). However the staff were very kind and helpful (they even let us use their printer) and the location was really perfect to see the palaces etc. Giacomo Lorenzo, from Italy ~ 16th Aug 2011

Great location. Cozy, cute, pleasant setting, but the hostel is a bit cluttered/messy and our room was somewhat humid/musty. The staff was very kind though as one of them came to pick us up, and the other made us delicious breakfast! Our only suggestion is more professionalism from the staff. Our personal experience involved a friend who bumped into us at night and came in late around 1:30am to ask about the availability of rooms. We booked private double bed room in the basement. It was really humid. After we complained about it, they upgraded the room for us. We were lucky that Mr. Sea was there when we complained. Make sure that you don't get the room in the basement. They have plenty of rooms upstairs which are fine and have better security. Staff was very nice and kind. Korea was my transit countries for permanently move from US to Thailand. I had to carry very huge and heavy luggage. The staff helped me carry them t Suppamas, from Thailand ~ 14th Jul 2011
