The location of Backpackers Miyajima was perfect for my visit to Miyajima Island and Hiroshima. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We had a great time talking with other travelers. Very clean but the futons are thin which makes for a hard sleeping urface and therre was a very loud noise coming from the AC vent during the night. This hostel is right next to the ferry to Miyajima, so if you're looking to go to the island early in the morning, this is a winner.There's not much to do in the town, though.The staff are very friendly and nice but somewhat scatterbrained.:)It has a lot of character, obviously aimed at young backpackers.The rooms are crowded and not especially clean.There's a six-minute limit on shower water, but if you turn off the water when you don't actually use it, you'll be fine.
