Staff are top notch and the pub crawl is unmissable. Could be more air in the rooms but otherwise one the of the best hostels I have stayed in.

It was to 2:00 clock in the night very loud in the hostel and also outside the door, so that we could hardly sleep, which is why we have canceled the next day and I had £ 20 cancellation fee to pay, it's very much, I am somewhat disappointed

I wanted to book to the Castel Rock, it was a pity when i know there was inposible for the fist two days, I went to this one, and people of the staff and in roome were rude... I dont want people run after me, but at least they could answer you when you say: Hy! how are you , my name is Beattrix...
Now Im in the castle, and even if the showers are no so good, people are warm ad here, Here there lots of warm

Great place with very helpful staff. Close to the Royal Mile. Lockers in all the rooms, plus huge luggage lockers. One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to others.

This hostel was the bet I stayed in during my trip. It was very clean, it was in a good location, and the staff was great! They helped me feel somewhat at home.

The place is very clean, but the common room is usually full of the sharp smell of the washing liquid. It would be good for health to reduce the usage of chemical washing liquid and to protect the environment. Anyway, the Budget Backpackers is an excellent choice to stay in Edinburgh. Thanks!
