Hotel Chuo Selene in Nikko, Japan

My eight night stay at the Hotel Selene was very nice. The management was extremely helpful and courteous, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotels' facilities were well maintained. While the area around the hotel is not so nice, it is so close to the train and subway stations that it is not even an issue. I highly recommend the Hotel Selene.

The lobbly-warm and inviting. (one of their PCs gave my USB stick a virus.)The staff was friendly and helpful.English comprehension is OK. Private bath and shower in room was great.No locks on the lockers. Said too many abuse it.so no way of locking. Just open holes where the locks were.- Very dirty room. You make your own bed. Saw hairs, stained comforters and pillows. Took the best of them. Need to clean rooms better. Area is safe at night but more tipsy city folk. They leave you alone. Mark, from USA ~ 1st Sep 2011
