We really enjoyed our stay at Charoendee. This is a great place to stay. It´s in the middle of Khao San Road, which makes it very central. It´s close to lots of things to see and do around in Bangkok. The Staff is lovely. They are really helpful. We got tricked with a bustour from Bangkok to Siem Reap, the pick up never came, and the staff at Charoendee helped us complaining on the agance and we got everything fixed. Instead of bus we got private taxi for the same cost. Very recommended hostel Camilla, from Norway ~ 4th Jan 2012

Sometimes it is hard to fall asleep. Khoa San Road lives all the time. But we really enjoyed the atmosphere of this Road. Rooms were nice, bathroom quite clean but the staff was not so great. It was really hard to communicate. But all in all - it was one of the best places we stayed during our whole trip. :) Małgorzata, from Poland ~ 15th Jan 2012

It's funny to see people willing to spend time into the heart of Khao San Road and then complaining about its "loudness". Of COURSE Khao San Road is loud and that's exactly why you guys are willing to spend some time there, because the atmosphere there is just incredible! Nothing to complain about the hostel, you pay 10$ to stay there (coffee and toasts included) and they are definitely worth it. Enjoy your time there! Jonathan Jonathan, from France ~ 28th Apr 2011

The staff personell was very nice, and easy to communicate with. On the other hand, WIFI was from time to time very spotty and inaccessible. I was trying to work (I need to make a living whilst traveling) and could not work because of how the WIFI service was. Maybe if they could upgrade wifi service or something. Also, there was only one bathroom (? as far as I could see) in the entire building, so in mornings and evenings, I had to wait and wait before they became available. Marc, from USA ~ 14th Mar 2011
