Bed linen not changed, kitchen toilets and bathrooms not cleaned regularly

Nice and clean hostel. A bit far from the center. It is a bit expensive to wash in common showers and to sleep on a matress put on the ground. It is a shame that you cannot lock the door of your private room.

I had a nice stay here. Loved the decor in the rooms and found everything to be fairly clean. Very little security in place but I never felt cause to worry. Not in the center of town but very close to a metro stop, so it wasnt inconvenient. Id stay there again.

Very cosy and fine little place. staff was kind. the rooms was very very dusty but it was ok. The nabourhood was pretty boring. the breakfast you could buy was a joke. you had to make everything yourself, even boil your own eggs.... and there was nothing to choose betwen, so do not pay for that

This was the worst hostel I stayed in during my trip. There was no one there to check me in when I arrived and other guests ended up waiting close to 3 hours for someone who worked there to arrive. The beds are mattresses on the floor and the place is pretty dirty. There is no 24 hr staff onsite and the receptionists are unfriendly, unhelpful, and frankly, rude. I saw several guests arrive, take one look at this hostel, and immediately make arrangements to stay somewhere else. Very unpleasa

What can I say? I have stayed here twice. Next time I go to Berlin I will stay there again. The place feels like a temporary home. The living room is cosy, the facilities decent enough. The people that come through there are fantastic (it probably is the "cosy little backpackers" hippy feel to the advert that attracts so many cool people - & it is just like that in real life). You get a mattress on the floor, you get very good showers (the middle one in the boys spits in your eye though!) and

Double rooms in seperate building are much better than the dormitory. Peculiar regulation with the returning of keys. But overall nice and good atmosphere.

The dorm rooms were pretty average, but the private rooms (we stayed in both a private single and a private double) were great- very unique and full of all sorts of extra things that we could use (i.e. a porch in the double and toiletries in the single). It is in a very quaint, cosy neighborhood and close to a U-Bahn station, so even though there aren't tons of things to do right nextdoor, it is a great place to come back to after a busy day around Berlin.
