Location was poor, the rooms were dirty and there were bugs everywhere! East Berlin is still not the place to stay for turist. We were accomodated in Western comfort hostelboat on the other side of the river, so don't rely on the pictures you see on their website.

This place was pretty cool being on the water. They had a nice bar over looking the water. I didnt enjoy paying 5 Euro for linen. The lady who checked us in was really good and remembered our faces. There werent many people there and many people were older. Location was good - right near a station. Would have been better if there was more than 1 shower for everyone.

We had a great time in Berlin. The location on the river Spree next to the Wall is very special. Our double bedroom was nice and warm, and was so spacious - there was a vacant bunk bed to spread out all our stuff. We were so exhausted we didn't make it up to the bar, but it looked pretty cool on Wednesday night. I would recommend this unique accommodation and we would stay there again!

This was probably my favourite hostel that we stayed in in Berlin, mainly because of its originality. It's lovely to wake up to the sound of water lapping against the side of the boat! Also since the communal area for breakfast isn't that big it's a very sociable place and easy to meet others staying there. We stay in a 4 dorm with en suite. i want tuo go again to try the cabins on the first floor, not the inferiors, cause i think that are betters than the 45 where i was. in any case, a great option to stay in berlin
