The hostel is in the center of FLorence and is really nice. I dont know if it is because of the hostel but it was also the place where I meet the nicest ppl on my trip. Besides this Franco who runs the place is really good host and takes care of you at all times and makes sure you know your way around Florence. The beds and toilets are okay and the good thing about the bath is that you can take down the showerhead so for us short ppl we can actually wash our hair :D Louise, from Denmark ~ 14th Aug 2009

The location is excellent. Really it is. Very close to many historical locations. However, my travel partner and I both got a bad case of bed bug bites, spider bites, or something like that. Every day we would wake up with more bug bites - it was awful. Watch out for the bed bugs... Zachary, from USA ~ 8th Jul 2009

Bathroom floors were nearly almost all wet due to usage of the showers. The staff was somewhat elusive, though we stayed mostly during the the weekend. Found no breakfast or dinner made by the hostel staff during the weekend. The view of the piazza below was amazing. The bustling city noises were charming in the late afternoon, but an annoyance at 1 and 2 a.m. All in all a really great hostel. Carrie, from USA ~ 1st Jul 2009

When we arrived, we learned that we were staying in another place. We got there and the place smelled like old cheese. The staff was not helpful at all. The bathrooms and floors were horrible. No staff came to clean or check up. The kitchen was not usable because it was too dirty (one inch of dust in the sink). All in all, very disgusting place, except that it was really well situated. When we went to ask some info in the afternoon, the only staff was sleeping. I do not recommend this! Francois, from Canada ~ 3rd Jul 2009
