Very clean hostel right by the train station. I enjoyed very much the company of the owner, Marco, who made us backpackers feel right at home. Two kitchens, plenty of bathrooms/showers make for a convenient(and cheap) stay. Also, you're right by Piazza Vittorio Emmanuel, which makes for good Metro access, along with no curfew.

Advice: read the reviews carefully. I heard lots of bad stuff about the dorm-style rooms....and I saw them and they looked pretty bad. But, I was just there for two nights in a private double room, and it was really nice. About 2-star level. Way more than I was expecting. The beds aren't super comfy, but they are beds. Warning for couples: the "double bed" is really two singles pushed together to make one bed. Not so great for snuggling...but overall, I was happy. The location is a bit i

Les + : Très bien placé, quartier calme, proxi métro direct centre historique + vatican, possibilité de tout faire à pied avec de bonnes chaussures, accueil sympa.

Hostel is small but very Italian common building.Place is nice, clean and quiet.Location is very convenient,close to the metro station,in the center of city.We really enjoyed it staying for a few nights on weekend.

The terrace is great and has a lot more potential if those lazy Italians were willing to put some effort in things. So this means bring your own drinks, candles, ... But after all it's probably one of the better places you can find in Rome.
