hello everybody,
it was ok. but the room 47 could be also a club ;) the sound from the club behind the hostel its not for person they loving calm. bumbumbum between twelve until early in the morning. the good thing is the hostels is in the centre.

I was badly surprised by breakfast; no cheese, no ham, no cornflakes, only olives, eggs, butter... Hotel is quite old, wood floors were sometimes noisy. Staff was excellent, good knowledge of english, location perfect

This was a great hotel for the price. The only critiscm I have was the noise from the traffic outside and the lack of variety in the breakfast, but this seems to be the case for most hotels in Athens. The hotel was in a perfect location for sightseeing.

Great location and friendly staff. The room was basic but everything worked. Great value and lots of character. A bit noisy, but it is, after all, Athens!

My check-in time was supposed to be at 10:00AM, but they couldn't manage to get the room ready until 1:45pm. I had to wait for almost four hours to finally get settled in my room. Good location but they customer service and staff need a lot of improvement.

Staff wasn't very helpful. We tried to check in at 9:30am and the girl told us we couldn't check in until 10am, which was fine. We waited there until 10am and she just sat at the reception desk doing nothing. So we said we would go use the internet down the street and come back (which is very cheap compared to the price at the hostel). When we came back at 11:30am, she made us wait longer for the room and just continued to sit at the reception desk doing nothing. Odd. Finally at 11:40am we

I booked a twin room on the website but there were none available and my friend and i had to share a single. I had to argue and push to pay the single rate - they wanted me to pay a twin room rate at first. (They did offer two single rooms instead, but my friend was sick so this didn't work for us)

We booked through the hostels.com website to arrive at 2 a.m., but when we arrived we were told that our room was full and that we should have booked the previous night if we had intended to arrive at 2 a.m. (but neither the website nor they told us about that). We had a private room, and no one cleaned during the three nights that we stayed there; moreover, the room was tiny and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was in poor condition.
