Gojo Guesthouse - Annex in Queenstown, Japan

This hostel has a real character.The house was originally Geisha's house.The room I stayed was small, but it has a nice atomsphere with cute old lamp. Very clean bathroom. While the hostel is quite far from the station, it is near Kiyomizu temple and offers bicycle rentals for only 500 yen a day, making it very convenient. We stayed two nights and our only complaint is that it can be very loud in the evenings and early morning if people are talking in the common room. The walls are thin like every other Japanese home and so you can pretty clearly hear everything the people downstairs are saying. Otherwise, great though. You can even drop off bags before checkin!
