We will be recommending this one to as many people as possible. Linh the host is extremely friendly & helpful. They gave us a beautiful light filled double room with hot water, tv, fridge, nice furniture, comfortable bed & lots of windows for US$15. We stayed three nights & are going back there in a couple of days before we leave vietnam. HIGHLY recommended.

The people at Hanoi Guesthouse were very nice and always willing to help. The rooms were fairly clean...but rundown. And we basically froze because we thought there wasn't any heat in the building. That was the impression we got after asking the staff. Only after moving to a different place did we realize that the air conditioning unit may have also doubled as a heater. Never did find out if we slept like an ice cube for no reason. Not sure I would recommend this place. The staff was real
