Hostal Centric in Barcelona, Spain

Although friendly the staff were not informative. They never offered to tell me about the hostel - I only noticed there was an outdoor seating area on my last day.had I have known befor I would have sat out in the evening. other than that it was great value for money and I would stay there again. this is the first hostel i've stayed in that had a full set of sheets, luxurious towels, and even a tv in the room. the beds were really great by hostel standards. i've stayed in regular hotels that had worse. the only prob was it was hellish hot and we couldn't cool the room enough w/ just a fan. it was really loud (which made it hard to sleep w/o ear plugs) cuz we had to leave the balcony door open for ventilation. that was the only downer. susan, from USA ~ 22nd Jun 2009
