The area around the hotel was kinda shady, but then again I read that in other reviews already and knew to expect it. The police came out in riot gear to arrest the prostitute around midnight so that was a bit exciting to watch. The showers are alright, nothing special and the room is what you would expect. Although I must say, a fan or something would have been nice cause the rooms are hot as hell in the summer.

This was our first hostel so we didnt know what to expect. It was nice but we wouldnt choose to stay there for more than a couple of days as there was no common room so difficult to meet new people and just relax. It was in a really good location for the city but a long way from the train station. But, it difinatly did the trick. We enjoyed our stay but there was nothing too special about it.

Thin doors, poor light, messed toilets, AC is not included in price, dirty pillows, view from the window is concrete wall, some kind of beetles was running in the room.

This hostel was very disspointing, I went with two other girlfriends and we felt very threatened in the area and were worried about leaving the windows open in our bedrooms. The rooms were so hot, air conditioning was an extra 4 euro. There were two communial toilets and three shoers which didnt have proper locks on them and it looked as if the place was falling apart. Will never go back there again and will be sure to warn people off this hostel as we have experienced a range of other hostels w

It is the best deal in Athens if you are a real backpacker this place will suit you fine. The hostel is clean and Spiro is a great night time host. PLus you get AC for 1 euro

This is a very decent hostel for the price. The two problems are that sheets aren't provided, but you can by a sheet and towel for 1 euro, which is worth it if your there for more than one night. It has air conditioned rooms and free internet which is amazing. One note - when getting there it is more like a 10-15 minute walk from the metro station, not five like the directions say. I would stay here again.
