WORST.HOSTEL.EVER. Booked 2 nights, emailed ahead saying I would not arrive until 7am, get there on the bus, hostel plead ignorance at my booking. Toilets/showers all padlocked, no toilet roll, only allowed 1 shower per night between 830-630. Staff clueless and rude. Kitchen unsanitary, no teatowel,no washing up liquid, no matches for hob. Beds creaky and uncomfortable. Not allowed to charge camera even tho most visitors would be taking photos at the Salar, AWFUL PLACE! David, from England ~ 9th Apr 2009

Good beds and good warm showers, not all day but you are in the desert, so water is rare. The staff is not very friendly, because we had a reservation and we didn´t get a discount because we didn´t bring a print of it! The kitchen is not very clean and not well equiped.. This hostel doesn't correspond to international hostel standards. Coming from Villazon by train (as many other backpacker travellers), I arrived at about midnight. Although I reserved, when I arrived there was nobody available. There was no light and I ringed umpteen times the bell but nobody opened. When I complained the next day, their excuse was just that they didn't hear the bell. My impression of the quality standard was okay but concerning the service I'm very disappointed.
