I do not recomend this hostel. It's on a street full of bars, music can be heard as if it was played in the room until 4am in the morning 7 days a week (in every room with a window, which are at least half of them). The atmosphere is more that of a basic hotel than that of a hostel, no decoration, no music, no nothing. There's no bar in the terrace as they claim. No wi-fi in the common room, only on the reception. I've moved to a much better hostel also in Palermo city center Victoria, from Italy ~ 15th Oct 2011

It is located above the most noisy pubs that I have ever been to in my life. I got there at nigth, and it was quite scary. The girl at the reception did not now much about the hostel, she is there only for a fewweekends... The staff is very polite and helpful. You need to know, that in downstairs situate the Italy karaoke bar and from there you will hear the songs until 4 am every night, so take the earplugs with you. Kitchen is very good, terrasse also, clean and nice place. Mart, from Estonia ~ 30th Mar 2011
