Great location, good price, adequate staff. Otherwise, I was so not impressed. The sheets were suspiciously stained, the walls badly in need of paint and everything in our room was covered by a layer of dust/dirt. I regrettably decided to spend the €5 to do laundry: my clothes barely got clean and certainly didn't get dry. After staying in several other hostels this trip, my two nights at Jaeger's were disappointing.

I's close to all the main sites, on the reception you can get info to make your trip even better, they are very well informed, the beds are cozy and the bathrooms were always clean. It can be a little noisy but considering there are about 40 people per room, it's more than great!

Rooms were clean with ensuite. Security lockers available (bring your own lock) both in room and outside after checking out. Bar downstairs and plenty of tables and chairs around, music played fairly loud though. Close to train station and red light district if that's what you're into.

In a good location, super close to the train station. A nice walk to many of the sites. Fun hostel bar, nice place to meet people.

The place was very close to the inner city and close to the Hauptbahnhof. The bathrooms could have been cleaner, but I suppose that the high frequency of travellers makes that difficult.

This hostel had an uncomfortable feel to it. Security was non-existent. My room had no lock, and I returned to the room one morning to find a strange man sleeping in my bed! The breakfast was extremely skimpy - just toast, butter and jam, and coffee. The staff was very friendly and helpful, though.

The location and price make the hostel!
Breakfast is awful (you really need to at least have something salty and juice for hangovers), and the hostel is generally not very clean (the bathrooms are especially dirty). Other than that, I had a great time. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lots of fun!
