Jodanga Backpackers Hostel in Vaalwater, Bolivia

Pretty sure I got bed bugs from this place and your typical young foreigner guitar player never knew when to shut up. Small place so everything echoes...definitely not recommended

Dear guest, Bed bugs are an unfortunate fact of life for all hotels and hostels, as they travel with people from place to place so occasional infestations are an inevitable fact of life. To avoid this we regularly fumigate all the rooms and dorms, and do a thorough clean/investigation after ALL reports of bites or bugs. Actually in your case we did a thorough search after you left and couldn�t find anything at all (though we fumigated again just to be sure)! And I�m sorry about the guitar player � although to be honest we didn�t like it much either, but he is a guest too so it�s not really our place to ask him to stop playing!

It was ok, the stuff doesnt help too much, they dont have too much travel information, the hostel is clean , barbecues are expensive if u compare with others hostel,the swimming pool is cool, and the hostel is really far from the centre and it could bea problem to save money because the most of the times u need to take a taxi and cross from a park which i heart is not very safe during the night for forein or locals

Dear guest, Our staff try their hardest to give any information you need, and we have our own great guide of all the things to do in and around Santa Cruz too! Many of our guests walk to and from town and the park is actually very safe (and a taxi is usually only 10-15Bs � not much between 3-4 people), but it�s a fair point that Santa Cruz *is* more expensive than the rest of Bolivia and Jodanga is not a cheap place, but you pay for quality!!
