I didn't love this place as much as some others seem to. It's perfectly clean, conveniently located, and staff were friendly and helpful enough. But the rooms are stark and bland, impersonal and windowless. Next time in KL I'll try elsewhere. Bianca, from Australia ~ 8th Aug 2011

Staff was great, super super nice and helpful, great location, right next to Chinatown, the Central Market and the train. Traveling alone, stayed in a single room, perfect for what I was looking for, couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Free internet, free breakfast, phenomenal staff. Matahari Lodge was just a quick night stayover for me, but it was wonderful! Very helpful and informative staff. Clean rooms, and well looked-after shared bathrooms. Lots of hot water. Free wifi and 2 computers. It was also nice to have free coffee and toast in the morning. The location is perfect walking distance to metro, Chinese and Indian shopping areas.
